Hello!
I am Alessandra Keidann. I’ve been caring for animals since childhood. I’ve owned pets and have also helped rescue and re-home many others. I graduated as a veterinarian, specialising in dogs and cats, and worked for seven years as both a veterinarian and business manager at my own veterinary clinic in Brazil.
In 2017, I moved to New Zealand with my family to restart our lives in a place that offers a higher quality of life and better opportunities for my children. I am currently studying for my final examination to become a qualified veterinarian in New Zealand.
I am the founding director of Home Pet Care, which I established in 2019. Initially, I provided only mobile pet grooming services. Although I no longer offer full grooming for healthy dogs, I have expanded my services to include a comprehensive range of veterinary nursing options. Home Pet Care provides personalised, low-stress veterinary nursing services in the comfort of your pet’s home in Hamilton, NZ, and surrounding areas.
We cater to:
1) Pet owners who face challenges in getting to the vet clinic, such as the elderly, individuals with limited mobility, and parents with young children.
2) Animals that benefit from home-based care, including puppies who have not completed their vaccination courses, debilitated animals, and those that experience severe motion sickness or stress when visiting the vet. We are here to help make it easier for you to provide quality health care for your beloved pets and to ensure a more pleasant in-home experience for them.
